Sponsorship contracts are due by April 15, 2011. Benefits cannot be guaranteed without receipt of contract. Please make all cheques payable to the Dawson City Chamber of Commerce. Sponsorships are not subject to GST.
2. Exhibitors
- Indoor Booth: 10’ x 10’ booth with table, chairs &wireless internet $250
- Outdoor Exhibitor: 20’ x 40’ space with table, 2 chairs:$250
- Home-Based Entrepreneur/ Non-Profit Organization Table (indoor) $75. Additional home-based/non-profit table: $40
Exhibitor placement will be made by request when possible
Indoor Booths:
- The Dawson City Chamber of Commerce will provide one 10’ X 10’ space. It will be curtained on three sides. Each indoor booth will have one duplex 110-volt receptacle and a table and 2 chairs. Exhibitors will be required to provide the sign for their booth advertising their company.
Outdoor Booths:
- The Dawson City Chamber of Commerce will provide one outdoor space approx size 20’ X 40’. Each space will have one table and 2 chairs. We have changed the layout for outdoor booths this year- please see map and/or contact the Chamber office if you have any questions.
Home Entrepreneurs & Non-Profit Organizations:
- The Dawson City Chamber of Commerce will provide one table and two chairs. You will be required to provide the sign for your table advertising your company. Power is not included for these tables. If you do require power for your display a $20 surcharge will be applied, please contact the Gold Show office at time of registration.
All booths and tables must be paid for by April 15, 2011. Please make cheques or money orders payable to the Dawson City Chamber of Commerce. Please add 5% GST to payment.
2. Cancellation & Refunds-
Any Exhibitor canceling prior to April 15 will receive a full refund. There will be no refunds after April 15.
3. Show Hours –
The Dawson City International Gold Show 2010 will be open for public viewing:
- Friday May 20, 2011 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday May 21, 2011 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Booths must be staffed during entire show hours as outlined above.
Please show consideration for your fellow exhibitors and for the success of the Gold Show by not closing your booth early!
4. Move – In Schedule –
- Thursday, May 19 – 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday, May 20 – 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
All booths must be completed by 10:00 AM, Friday May 20, 2011
5. Registration
All exhibitors and booth personnel must register at the Gold Show booth in the arena and will be issued identification badges. The company signing the contract will be the company whose name appears on the badges. A listing of Exhibitors will be announced in newsprint advertising, in our brochure and posters.
6. Electrical Services
Special electrical requirements must be submitted in writing in as much detail as possible with your registration form. Late requests cannot be guaranteed.
7. Character of Exhibit Area
The arena floor is packed gravel. No flammable fluids or substances may be used or shown in indoor booths. Exhibitors are required to set-up, display, and dismantle their exhibits. Large exhibits are welcome, but containers and boxes too large to be stored in the booth must be removed from the exhibit floor. Cardboard and paper left on the floor may absorb moisture. The arena can also be chilly- please dress accordingly!
8. Limitation of Liability
The Dawson City International Gold Show 2011 and its host, the Dawson City Chamber of Commerce will be exempted from or indemnified for claims by show participants for injury, damage, loss or liabilities that may arise directly or indirectly from the occupation of the show premises.
9. Security
Booth security will be provided after set-up and at the conclusion of each day until one half hour prior to show start. Doors will remain locked and security provided. The Dawson City International Gold Show and its host are NOT responsible for any goods left in the booth(s). During show hours, exhibitors are responsible for maintaining and securing their individual booth(s).
10. General
For the purpose of providing a successful trade show the host organization shall have the power to interpret the rules or amend them if necessary to satisfy the best interests of the entire show and all amendments shall bind the exhibitors.
