Dawson City International Gold Show 2013

 

The 2013 Gold Show package has arrived with revamped sponsorship levels and an extraordinary line up of thought-provoking guest speakers.. One of many speakers worth noting is Matt Vickers of G7G. They are proposing a rail line stretching from Fort McMurray, Alberta to the port of Valdez, Alaska. In lieu of a pipeline they have implemented a plan to use rail as a solution to exporting both petroleum and minerals as a safer and more efficient way of transportation. To give you a sense of the G7G group I am including a clip from a press release published on January 3^rd 2013

“This important infrastructure project is a G7G / First Nations initiative that will be privately financed. The original railroads were Nation Building … this one will be, when implemented, “Nation Changing”. Therefore, our name moniker, UNRailCo, short for “Unifying Nations Railway Company”. This proposal is in the very best “National Interest” of Canadians and Americans alike, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal — working together for the benefit of all.”

We have partnered with the Yukon Chamber of Commerce’s to include a special Meet and Greet gathering for the opening night. This event will be a great kick start to the Gold Show and will be considered a prime opportunity to network with industry, business, and government officials.

The morning seminars are geared towards Growth, Economic Development & Vision in the Yukon. Large companies that have confirmed their presentations include G7G, Paradox Access Solutions, Victoria Gold Corp and Northern Cross with more confirmations pending.
